BANGKOK, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- Thailand's supreme commander Gen. Songkitti Jaggabatara said he is not worried and will continue working though six people, who were injured by a military action during the anti-government riots in mid-April, filed Tuesday a complaint with the Crime Suppression Division police against him.
The six people together with Karom Polthaklang, a lawyer for the anti-government United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD), filed the complaint also against Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva, the website by Bangkok Post reported.
In the UDD complaint, Abhisit was accused of declaring a state of emergency in Bangkok during the UDD scattered rioting and Gen. Songkitti, as peace-keeper under the state of emergency, of abuse of authority and ordering soldiers to commit attempted murders.
"I won't do anything in relation to the UDD complaint, while the Crime Suppression Division police will consider what need to be done after the complaint," the Thai News Agency quoted Gen. Songkitti as saying.
Gen. Songkitti said his task during the mid-April's rioting was based on the country's laws, which were applied in a bid to keep law and order.
"I am not worried about this since I did not do any wrong," Gen.Songkitti said.
