Cambodia’s ministry of education, youth and sports will release a science research magazine in the second semester of this year to provide a chance for scholars, students and researcher to publish their work for the kingdom’s benefit, said Chan Roath, head of pedagogy and science research department of the Education Ministry said on Tuesday. He also is head of the Committee of Judgment of Science Work. “If their work implements with the principles of science, and it also implemented our conditions for research work, that work will be published in our magazine,” he told DAP News Cambodia. “When we accept their science work to print in our magazine, they will get a credit degree for the education quality for their personal study and study history,” he said, adding that if they study a doctorate or masters degree, “we will provide the credit degree for their study and we will cooperate with their schools to provide their credit forthem.”

‘If they are teachers at the Education Ministry, they will be promoted,” he added.
“It will offer huge benefits for our students and scholars through releasing their science work and it will contribute to provide the basic knowledge of science, literature, sociology, and information technology that will bring to upgrade education field and national development ad encourage our scholars to release their work to the Cambodian Research Science Magazine.
“It will have about 60 pages and it is not a simple magazine because it is research level,” he said, adding that this magazine already approved in August 19, 2009 from education minister Im Sothy and we are waiting to see their science research work of the scholars, students and doctor candidates, school principals, university rectors.
