"Vietnamese troops did not invade Cambodia ... They came to help Cambodia from the Pol Pot regime - we should be thankful to the Vietnamese." - CPP MP "Chom Chea Yap" aka "Cheam Yeap"
Former border resistance leaders stand by antagonism towards Vietnamese.

A WHO'S who of anti-Vietnamese leaders of the 1980s gathered at a stupa in Kandal province Thursday to commemorate resistance fighters who had died as part of the movement's effort to expel the foreign power.

The Khmer National Liberation Front (KPNLF) was one of the main resistance groups to emerge along the Thai border following the fall of the
Khmer Rouge by Vietnamese forces and their subsequent administrative takeover of Cambodia.
Former KPNLF army and political leaders inaugurated a monument with inscriptions of the names of resistance fighters who died between 1979 and 1991 at a ceremony in Kien Svay district.

Chuor Kim Meng, who had been a lieutenant general for the movement's military wing, said the resistance helped push the Vietnamese out and forced the local officials it had installed to accept multiparty democracy.

"If not for these fighters, Vietnam may have continued to occupy Cambodia," he said.

Dien Del, former chief of staff of the group's army, said the event "preserve the memory of those who died expelling the Vietnamese occupiers".

Prince Norodom Ranariddh, the guest of honour, praised the resistance. "I have never forgotten its fighters who died," he said. He, too, described the Vietnamese troops in Cambodia at that time as "invaders" and "occupiers".

While there was no official condemnation from the government, the commemoration should have proved controversial as the ruling Cambodian People's Party (CPP) evolved from the People's Revolutionary Party of Kampuchea (PRPK), the regime that governed Cambodia under the control of Vietnamese forces.

KR alliance necessary

Son Soubert, son of Son Sann, founder and former president of the KPNLF and himself a participant in the movement's administration, said he had sent a letter of invitation to Prime Minister Hun Sen, Senate President Chea Sim and Deputy Prime Minister Sok An. Only Chea Sim responded, saying he had other obligations.

Cheam Yeap, a senior CPP lawmaker, criticised the KPNLF for characterizing the Vietnamese as enemies.

"Vietnamese troops did not invade Cambodia," he told the Post by phone. "They came to help Cambodia from the Pol Pot regime - we should be thankful to the Vietnamese."

The exit of Vietnamese forces in 1989 came about not from resistance pressure from the border but because the PRPK was ready to rule on its own, he contended.

Opposition party representatives present at the ceremony, however, insisted the Front's cause was righteous and attributed the exit of Vietnam to its efforts.

"They fought for our freedom and sovereignty - that represents Khmer nationalism at its purest," said Human Rights Party President Kem Sokha.

Sam Rainsy Party spokesman Son Chhay had been the KPNLF's representative in southern Australia, where he was based then. "Without the resistance from the border, we would not have had the Paris Peace Accords," he said.

Nationalism first

The KPNLF started in 1979, recruiting some of the hundreds of thousands of Cambodian refugees seeking sanctuary along the border with Thailand.

Its key figures had held prominent positions in the administrations of Sihanouk and right-wing general Lon Nol, and were unified in their opposition to communism and to the presence of Vietnamese forces in the country.

The Front was seen by the US and other Western allies as the most reliably anti-communist and pro-Western group in Cambodia.

In its effort to drive out the Vietnamese, the Front struck an awkward alliance with remnants of the Khmer Rouge. In 1982 the KPNLF entered the tripartite Coalition Government of Democratic Kampuchea.

The new coalition included the Party of Democratic Kampuchea, a splinter group of the defeated Khmer Rouge led by Khieu Samphan, and the royalist resistance movement known as Funcinpec, and represented Cambodia at the United Nations.

For the former leaders of the Front, the alliance with their ideological counterparts was a necessary evil.

"Son Sann always said the country is more important than the party or faction," said Pol Ham, who had been the Front's Information Minister.

"We hated the Khmer Rouge, but at that time we had to prioritise - and the foreign occupiers were the first enemy. We formed a coalition but kept our own identity."

Son Soubert was adamant the Front had never "joined" the Khmer Rouge.

"We were forced to enter a temporary coalition to achieve our goals," he said.

Funcinpec Senator Sabu Bacha, a former general of the Front's army, said the dire circumstances required divisions among Cambodians be put aside "so first we could expel foreign troops from our soil".

Add Page Element to Blogger Header and Blog Posts

របៀបបន្ថែម Element to Blogger Header ក្នុងប្លុករបស់អ្នក

You would notice under Template -> Page Elements that there are options to add a Page Element to the sidebar and the footer. However, there is none for the Header and Blog Posts. Having a Page Element option to these latter two is useful. You may want to add a picture at the top, or a Google Adsense ad at the top or bottom of your blog posts.

To have an "Add a Page Element" option, under "Template", click "Edit HTML". Scroll down and towards the bottom, you will see these lines:-

SO, here is the step:

1. Login to your Blogger account of course.

សូមចូលក្នុង
account របស់អ្នក

2. Go to your HTML Editor on your blogger dashboard.

បន្ទាប់មកចូលក្នុង
HTML Editor

3. Tick the Expand Widget Template

ចូរចុចធិចយក ត្រង់ Expand Widget Template

4. Find this code below:

ហើយចូរទៅរកកូដដូចខាងក្រោម៖

easy to search by click Ctrl + F and type showaddelement

ដើម្បីងាយស្រួលរក សូមចុច Ctrl + F ហើយវាយពាក្យ showaddelement

1' showaddelement='no'>

Change them to this:-

ហើយបន្ទាប់មកចូរប្ដូរកូដខាងលើនេះ ឲ្យដូចខាងក្រោមៈ

easy to search by click Ctrl + F and type maxwidgets

3' showaddelement='yes'>

This will give you 2 more page elements that you can add to your Header. You can increase this number if you want.

6. Right after that are these lines:-

ហើយបន្ទាប់មកទៀត រកកូដនេះទៀត

no'>

Change them to this:-

ហើយប្ដូរពី
no ទៅ yes

<'yes'>

You are now able to add Page Elements either before or after your Blog Posts.

Add Page Element to Blogger Header and Blog Posts

Note:

1. In different templates, the 'header-wrapper' may be called 'header-wrap' or 'header' and so on. Scroll to where you see an option called showaddelement and you can probably figure out the rest.

2. We realized that in some templates like the Dots Template, there is no separate Header at the top. Instead, the Header is contained in the left sidebar and the main posts appear on the right. This is the template layout and it is probably the reason for your choosing this design. In such templates, you can Add Page Elements to the 'main-wrapper' but not at the Header. Nevertheless, you can still look at the guidelines below to Add Page Elements in the 'crosscol-wrapper' part of the template. This will give you the option to Add Page Elements right on top of both the sidebar and main posts. You can upload images, insert AdSense code, text or other scripts into this section.

Update:

There is an additional position where you can add Page Elements to. This is between the Header and the Blog Posts. When you add a Page Element in the Header section, it follows the Header styles (like font, color and margin settings) and similarly, if you add a Page Element in the Blog Posts section, it follows the styles defined for the Blog Posts. You might want to include a Horizontal Menu or Navigation Bar or AdSense Ad unit just below the Header but before the Blog Posts and sidebars.

To do that, scroll to here and change to the value (shown in red):-

yes'/>

This should appear in all new Blogger templates. If you don't see this in your template, you can also add the entire code (shown in green). When you view your Template -> Page Elements, you should now see a new section in between the Blog Header and Blog Posts where you can insert Page Elements.

Add Page Element to Blogger Header and Blog Posts

Once these are done, Save the Template. Click the "Page Elements" tab, and you will now see "Add a Page Element" option at the top of the Header and Blog Posts. Assuming you decide to add the element below the Header or Blog Posts, not to worry. Simply create whatever element you want and save. Next, drag and drop the element to the bottom of the Header or Blog Posts. Click the Save button at the top right hand corner of the page, and your settings have been saved.

I am not good with translating. Please ignore grammer.

This article is an interview with Vang Sreyno.

1. Vang Sreyno stated that she started to enter entertainment world since 2004. During that time she had face many obstacles but this is what her dreams and want she wants to do since she was young.

2. The question ask what kinds of obstacle she had faced. The obstacles she had face includes scene that require her to film under the sun, wind, and rain. There is a scene that need to film at night according to the director. The problems that keep on continue was the rumor and majority of them are not true. These rumors had affected me emotionally.

3. The question asks how she solved those problems. In the past I had faced many problems but I successfully solved those problems by be patient and struggle. The others patrt was my family who was there to support me and give me a good advices. All of these had me strength to continue on.

4. Until now, you had played many movie such as Human or ghost, Mansion?, Destiny…etc. Among these movies, which one is your favorite? And why? All of the movie I played, I like all of it but the movie that I like best was “Human or ghost”. The reason I like this movie because it I had put my best effort to it. This film was first started with a scene that required being under sun, film in the forest, and film at night and sometime last until morning. Especially when I film the scene with ghost hunting, it made me felt that it was real. Another part was when the scene that talked about the people mistook me as a ghost and a scene when they brought a group of people to come and tie me up and hit me with the cow string that big as a thumb, I felt very painful that made me cry for real. My mom also cries as well and felt sad for me as she watch me from a far while I film this scene. And when we almost finish filming the movie, I received a bad reputation based on the using of technology that created my picture like I was naked for real. That is the time that majority of the people mistook me that I was filming with a naked body. But the true is just picture that was cut and paste. After that I give presentation related to those pictures, some people believed and some are not. Until the movie show in the theater then the true is reveal that I did not film with a naked body. The important part was that I received an experience in life and my job.

5. How many time you got hit? In each movie, what scene is the most difficult for you? During that time I cannot count how many times I got hit. I just know that each time they hit me; I felt very painful. The most difficult scene for me was in the movie “ Human or ghost” it was a scene where they tie me up and about to burn me. In this scene, it took three days because it required many important roles. For this same scene, it starts at 10 a.m., under the sun with my hand tie up and I must cry with tear. When one person messes up, we had to start all over again in the next morning. The next morning come, we started film again until evening but then it was rain. But we finish filming on the third day which I was out under the sun all day.
About the movie “Poum cris chomlaik” there is no special scene so it was not so difficult for me. About the movie called “Destiny” it does has some difficult scene such as I had to run during the rain in the middle of the night. But it was fake rain. I was so cold. There also a scene that required to roll over the small rock. This scene took many takes.

6. For this year 2007, how old are you? 18 years old.
7. What are the plans for this year? I plan to have concert tour across the states (in Cambodia), and plan to come outside of the country.
8. It seems that you are very busy. What have you plan for your personal life? It’s true that I am busy. Even though I’m busy but each week I take one day off for a family meeting.
9. For everyday life, what do you like to do in the morning? In the morning, if I had to film, I always wake up early and get ready to film. But for some day that I don’t film, in the morning I like to sleep to pay off.
10. About dressing up, in the morning how do you dress up? In the morning, I used clothes that related to the scene and what director had ordered. For my personal life I like to wear clothes that are bright in color such as blue or white.
11. For holiday or the day that you off from work, where do you like to go? I like to go to different states(in Cambodia), and outside of the country.
12. When you off from work, what would you like to do? When I am off from work I like to go to salon name “MeeKASA”, fix nail, wash hair, and spa. What I like the most is beauty.
13. What is your goal for this year 2007? For this year, my goal was I want to have concert tour outside of the country especially U.S.A.
14. Now let talk about the recent news related to a playboy actress that had the same face as you. A group of people say that this actress was you. About this news, do you know anything about it and what do you think? About this news, I already knew. It was a surprise for me. Because of this news, I had a bad reputation. Through this FASION REVIEW magazine, I just want to let people know that the pictures from the news are not me. She just a Japanese actress that has a career as a playboy. Her face look a little bit similar like mine, this had make people think that person was me.
15. Lastly, what would you like to say to your fans? I had many words in my heart that I would like to say. I just want to let all the people know that I’m Vang Sreyno, whatever I did I will accept it but whatever I did not, I won’t accept it. So in one of the sex film stated that the actress was me that is not true. I am not that actress. Please inspect carefully and I want to let the people know that I will never do this kind of act. I just want to thank you to Fashion Review that gives me an opportunity to reveal the truth. I wish that Fashion Review will be in the heart among all people. I also wish a happiness in all family.
